WHAT WE DO

Three priorities.
One shared purpose.

We begin with awareness and early detection, then build on that foundation through research support and a vision for patient care.

01 / OUR FIRST PRIORITY

Cancer awareness & early detection

Talking about cancer can prompt someone to learn about screening or encourage a loved one to do the same. We create opportunities for those conversations and advocate for taking screening and early detection seriously.

Maxine’s breast cancer battle began this mission, but our awareness work speaks to all cancers and everyone affected, including survivors, people in treatment, families, and caregivers. Earlier detection can give people a better fighting chance.

02 / LOOKING AHEAD

Supporting cancer research

Progress depends on people asking better questions and pursuing better answers. The Foundation intends to help fund cancer research and efforts to improve knowledge, screening, detection, treatment, discovery, and outcomes.

We support the people and organizations doing that work. The Foundation does not conduct medical research itself.

03 / PATIENT SUPPORT · COMING SOON

Chemo Concierge

During our family’s battle with cancer, we saw patients receiving chemotherapy alone, without a family member, friend, or loved one beside them. Chemotherapy can be long, and even longer when someone goes through it alone.

Chemo Concierge is in development. The vision includes companionship, snacks, drinks, reading materials, comfort items, practical assistance, human connection, and sometimes simply someone there to say hello. The program is not yet operating.
